Salary

£27358 – £33437 pro rata (actual salary £13678-£16718.50)

Contract

12 months fixed term (with the intention of extension should the post be successful in supporting business growth)

Agile working

Our office is based at Chilton Academy (DL17 0PT).  We allow our team to decide how to make work, work for them, whether that is predominantly working from home or predominantly working in the office.  We are not a fully remote company and the role will require some travel to our office for staff meetings and training.

Job Description:

The role would include responsibility for:

  • Effective management of day to day financial operations for Go Well; creating and maintaining financial systems

  • Producing month end cash flows

  • Providing information to Go Well external accountants who produce year end accounts

  • Preparing accurate financial reports and relevant information for Go Well Senior Leadership Team and Directors to enable informed decision making

  • Ensuring financial elements of subcontractors agreements are adhered to

  • Tracking income and expenditure and coordinating project budgets

  • Ensuring adherence to legal and statutory requirements

  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns

  • Providing financial assessments of product/service pricing and future ventures

  • Experience of working with Zoho Books and Zoho One Suite

We are looking for an individual to join our team who has the natural ability to look at information in a dynamic way and turn it into a useable system for others.

You see where improvements can be made, can quickly look at something and identify problems, bottlenecks and issues before they even arise – you have got an option a, b and c.

You can write processes quickly and efficiently and you love a good flow chart.

You have a special skill at being able to see things other people can’t and you can easily translate information in a simple process or procedure. You LOVE this work and thrive on getting stuck into something and “fixing it”.

Job Description
  • Design and disseminate systems to streamline day to day work of the Go Well team

  • Write processes, procedures and flows with the aim to build a “handbook” of Standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Through technology and automation streamline some of the most critical operational processes, with the aim of increasing efficiency

  • Development and rapid delivery of solutions to increase efficiency and customer experience

  • Develop and embed technical processes and train Go Well staff in these, sharing good practise

  • Thrive for continuous improvement.  Be constantly seeking improvements and tweaks with the key focuses in mind – enhanced service and customer experience

  • Complete regular diagnostics on customer services performance to define opportunities for improvement
