We passionately believe in the power of PE, sport and physical activity to improve lives.
A member of our Education team will deliver a staff awareness session to highlight the importance of being physically active and set the scene for the introduction of a new resource in school.
After a whole school assembly led by Go Well, we will train a group of Activators during a morning session in school – the children chosen will develop their own skills and understanding of Active 30 messages as they are guided to set up and lead playground games for their peers.
An opportunity to work with lunchtime staff to upskill them as well as the subject leader to help them embed Active Ted in school can also be part of this full morning in school.
A take home bag containing Active Ted, his diary and a class set of participation passports which can be as a tool to track activity will be given to one class in school to help them link the importance of physical activity both in and out of school.
To spread the impact wider across school, why not buy additional bags and give more pupils the opportunity to take Ted home too?
